Donât think so. Two weeks would be fairly quick to have that boxed off
How the jaysus was he not charged with assault?
I doubt the ref went straight to the station to make a statement afterwards
Youâre familiar with the phrase âa file is being prepared for the DPPâ.
It hasnât reached that stage yet afaik but itâll be slow as usual in this country.
150 quid for a training jersey.

Iâm surprised the fixing of Dublin club games hasnât been mentioned here.
No one takes club gaa in Dublin seriously
Nearly expecting one of these incidents every week now. Wouldnât begrudge the refs striking.
Refs will make a collective stand sooner than laterâŚ.
Wasnt there an incident in wicklow at the weekend too? They will have to at this stage. Make everyone suffer because of the village idiots. The refs have put up with it for too long
Wexford. Renowned townie scumbags St Josephâs had one of their band of merry men assault a referee in the car park just after they lost by a solitary point.
All counties across Ireland should have called off games in unison with Roscommon. Thankfully Laois didnât play any games that weekend, great solidarity.
Thats awful. Way too common. Clubs will have to get bans soon
Thatâs what should happen - referees should have the right to strike any player they choose and to bring lethal weapons such as hammers or knives onto the pitch with them to do so. That would soon put a stop to it.
GAA leadership either donât know or donât care
GAA people donât care. Wanton violence such as blind side punching of under-15 mentors to the temple has always been an integral part of the GAA, and thatâs the wayaâtil shtay.
GAA people want it.
Oh they know.
Problem being itâs usually prominent members carrying out the acts of violence
