Some Liverpool fans are 100% to blame for Heysel. A dark stain on the club… But that doesn’t just cancel out Hillsborough mate… It’s been well established what happened there.

No I mean the club. It has been erased from their history and they refuse to acknowledge it. A lot of their fans blame it on some dodgy concrete which is most unedifying and actually quite upsetting to see.

Policemen and other authorities were jailed as well as some Liverpool fans. Game should never have been played there.

Had the match taken place in Thatcher’s England then a whitewash to cover up establishment incompetence and corruption would have occurred.
