Ah come on now, they are in normal clothes. One thing I want to know how did they not get help before this? Surely the mother would have got ample warning from the landlord that she had to be out by a certain date. Is this just a stunt to get to the top of the list?
Get help off who Taz? How do you think people become homeless? Itās because they donāt have anywhere else to go. Garda stations are constantly having to take in homeless people on an emergency basis.
Further down in the article they said that it wasnāt school uniforms, just matching colours.

There are agencies and charities to help with this. What I am saying that this didnāt just happen over night, the mother (I donāt know if there is a father) would have been given ample warning to work with the agencies to get sorted out.

While this is true sometimes families may not qualify for housing support. For example a mother and her kids living at home with her folks may be said to not have an immediate housing need. Sometimes in these situations they may be advised to spend a night away from where they have been staying and to spend the night somewhere like a garda station and then go back to the council the next day and declare themselves homeless. They would then usually be supported to book a hotel get a place in a family hub etc.

Not to be smart Taz, but do you listen to the news at all? If the agencies and charities were able to sort everyone out why do we have a homelessness crisis and a housing crisis? Iām not sure you are living in the real world.
