That is absolutely fucking mental.
I cannot wait to get out of Dublin, never to return to this kip.
The likes of Eoin OâBroin would go to town on any politician that would suggest such a thing.
Heâll fall the fuck in when I tell him to.
I hope thatâs your long term intention.
I donât, only those that are actually Communists like yourself.
You made a statement you canât back up (as usual). Most of the worldâs problems according to you are due to right wing populism, and gave examples from the 20th century to back up your claim. You ignore the fact that most of the genocidal events in the 20th century wee perpetrated by left wing communist regimes.
Can you admit to the forum that you were wrong?
Stop will ya. She is like a Famine victim of 1845.
1846?
Actually, thereâs no one at all in the US who has anything even close to what the human experience has been of poverty. By any historical, and by standards of all too large a part of the world today, all Americans are simply hugely, gargantuanly, richer than any but the fewest, most privileged, of our forefathers.
Only one of us admires authoritarian fucknuttery, mate. Thatâs you.
Iâm not interested in nonsense youâve copied and pasted from the comments section Breitbart, so go and fuck yourself.
He is 100% right, not half right.
Why is it that in US states with the strictest gun laws, gun murders are the highest, and in states with the most lax gun laws, gun murders are the lowest, as low or lower than most European countries?
https://flowingdata.com/2011/01/19/states-with-the-most-and-least-firearms-murders/
âGun control is a fallacyâ.
What part of that is even 1% right?
So left wing regimes under Stalin, Mao, Pol Pol, etc. never existed ?
Thanks for admitting youâre a nutcase.
Thatâs a weird historical claim to make.
Only somebody as stupid as yourself would make it.
Then again, you have a vested interest in defending authoritarian fucknuttery, so itâs not a surprise.
Why is it that in US states that have the strictest gun control laws, gun murders are highest, and in US states that have the most lax gun control laws, gun murders are lowest? The gun murder rate in Vermont, New Hampshire, etc. is lower than most European countries.
Why is that? Perhaps because it has more to do with people and the value they place on life than gun laws?
Sidney I want to go first
Youâre the one making the claim that right wing populism is responsible for all the bad stuff that has ever happened. In typical fashion you have now run for the hills when called on your bullshit.
Answer the question.
Sowell says âgun control is a fallacyâ.
He argues against any gun control laws.
You said heâs 100% right.
Why are you arguing for no gun control?
Iâll have to quote from the article youâve linked to to prove this point, but obviously never read.
According to 2009 numbers reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, DC, Louisiana, Alabama, Maryland, and MIssissippi had the highest rates of firearms murders. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Vermont, Idaho, New Hampshire, Iowa, and North Dakota had the lowest.
Now Iâm only going to say this once because itâs an ugly truth and I donât like saying it because there are people here with mentally handicapped family members who donât want them compared to you but here is the ugly truth:-
You are retarded.
The article that youâve linked to clearly shows the Deep South States with laxer gun control have the most gun deaths. You didnât even bother reading the fucking thing because youâre so indoctrinated that you interpreted that as supporting you, without analysing it for a second.
You probably meant to link to some Alt-right propaganda and then clicked the wrong article.
The US is a bleak horrible depressing shithole and the only people who could like it were raised in some shit stained cowshed in rural Galway. I am a capitalist and an entrepreneur. I donât bother debating you on the US politics thread and I never will. Donât annoy me again.
You clearly do not have the intellect to comprehend what the eminent professor is saying.
Gun control does nothing to deter criminals. Honduras bans gun ownership by all citizens and yet has the highest gun murder rate in the world, far higher than the US. Switzerland, with the same population as Honduras, requires all males to own a gun, and yet has one of the lowest gun murder rates in the world.
He also points out that those who strongly advocate for gun control also advocate for lenient treatment of criminals. Sound familiar?
