Overall standings are calculated only after the round is closed.
The standings after each vote won’t currently work due to a bug with this version of xenforo. I am currently updating the HTML to get around that bug

The Overall Standings are a “Per Season” standing so calculated across the entire season to eventually get the “player of the year”, each round is also given standings

The idea behind the MVP is to calculate the player across an entire season, or competition rather than just single games. A cumulative total is kept for the round, but at this stage it is switched off.
At the end of the round, it is closed and only the top 3 players are awarded points, as in normal man of the match voting.
Oh Also FYI I am the developer of it, just helping out getting it running on this site as there have been some quirks in it compared to my live site and my dev servers.
