Motherwell are utterly appalling though. Usually they’d at least be getting tight and fouling a bit but they’re offering nothing with or without the ball. It’s good from Celtic but I’d like to see us being more clinical and scoring at least one more goal before half time.

Agreed but I’d make allowances for not having Griffiths in there. We should have the game finished by now but we are creating chances and that’s usually a bigger obstacle than putting them away.

Ambrose! Was sure he’d bury that. In fairness that was very awkward for him and he needed to intervene. Centre backs notably absent.
I’m still seething over that penalty decision. This is a low key game and there’ll be nothing made of it but the refereeing is pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. No excuse whatsoever for not giving that penalty.And the assistant has a very clear view of it too. There’s no ball involved, the defender is at the completely wrong angle, the contact is really heavy and extremely obvious. There is nothing even mildly complicated about the decision.
This is fucking ridiculous. Another blatant penalty not given. Muir “missed” the handball at Hampden last season and has “missed” another one. Absolutely incredible.

GMS for Armstrong. Not a great game for Armstrong. Hope GMS can rediscover some of his earlier season form, he’s been a bit predictable of late.
