Munster, celtic league, heineken cup, general and tag rugby thread 🐐

FFS Johnny typing we is also a lot easier than typing Munster every fookin time.
Didnt see last Fridays match… My mind was otherwise occupied last week. but now time to re-focus the attentions that the hurling is over. Might make a spin down to Musgrave sunday evening.

Things are shaping up well this year… expecting a big year from Earls and liekwise from Barry Murphy, if those lads can kick on they will be liek two new signings.

Good news on leamy from what i hear, he is coming on well
Welcome back blaa

See my comments above on Earls and the Edinburgh game.

Hopefully he will train on.

I see Earls has been picked at full back for Saturday with Howlett back on the wing.

Warwick is in for O’Gara, Murphy is in for Tipoki, O’Driscoll for O’Connell, Sheahan for Flannery and Buckley for Horan.

5 personnel changes and it’s still a fierce strong lineup.

munster have fierce strength in depth at the moment apart from the back row but that will change with the arrival of williams and leamys return from injury…great to see barry murphy get the start at centre…disappointed hurley didn’t get the nod at full back…i wonder did his poor showing in the heineken cup finall dent his confidence a bit…

earls played as full back for most of game last weekend as well…thingk they didnt pick him there so as not to advertise the fact to edinburgh and encourage them to bombard him

hurley was injured since the churchill cup I think, think he played for con last week for first time since
well considering that i haven’t missed a home heineken cup amtch in 7 years or a magners league match in thomand park in about 5…also spending thousands of euro’s to attend away fixtures which isn’t easy when your a student i think i have earned the right to consider myself a fan of munster and by being a fan i think that i can consider myself a small part of the munster rugby family…

would you rather that i referred to an english premier league team in this manner rubber johnny…
‘The Munster rugby family’?

Dear Jesus…

Your game’s up Pukester.

Telling us what a huge supporter you are one minute and next you’re querying the non-inclusion of a player carter tells us has been injured for a few months.

There’s nothing wrong with admitting you started watching rugby when Munster luckily beat Leinster in the HEC semi-final in 2006.

no thankfully i ain’t a bandwagoner…in fact if you ever lay your hands on a copy of the munster v gloucester miracle match in thomand park skip to the end of it and you will see a youngster lepping up on the back of jim williams…needless to say that young whippersnapper is me…

In pukepants defence it hasnt really been reported that he is injured, I was wondering what the story was myself and asked around is how I got that nugget. I might also be wrong.

And Bandage, there was nothing lucky about that win, and well you fookin know it cooont!
My favourite Musnter rugby occasion, beats both finals for me for atmosphere etc

twas a great day alright dan…shame the so called die hard leinster fans didn’t try a bit harder to get tickets that day…although i thought the atmosphere in thomand last season for the wasps game was something special also…

i see the ladyboys had a good win tonight…with ledge scoring a hat trick…

the only sport lamer than spudstick is west brit idiotball

why do they clap when the ball goes out of play - a nonsense sport & all the new found idiotball fans from munster must be the most detestable fans in all pro sport

o’gara is a cunt too

would it not have been easier to type “i don’t like rugby” ncc…

true:p

First time watching Munster this season, fuck me, Earls has put on serious muscle.

Earls second try was sublime skill, the pick up was outrageous stuff.
