Same shit different day!

I fookin hate dodgy-keeper. I know its only the internet but I would love to knock his fookin block off

As I have said before I think I got the road from AFR for an abusive rant towards him. An obvious enough WUM really as he is a massive Man U fan.

Good win alright Puke, watched it in the pub so didnt get great view of it, will watch the repeat tomo I think…earls is class in fairness

Decent enough from Munster - important to get the win anyway. Earls was class. Game got very scrappy second half but there was enough there to suggest the backs will be dangerous. And the pack will only improve.

Biggest worry was Flannery’s throwing which has shown no signs of improving.

Was just about to post that Leinster were up against it with 20 mins left and then that new Kiwi (?) lad (lethiwa?) goes over for a try. Leinster lead by 3 now. Cardiff have been all over them.

Contepomi kicking a penalty to touch and you can hear a Cardiff lad shouting “the referee’s a wanker” at the top of his voice. Classic stuff.

Level now - Roberts is having some game at 12 from the bit I’ve seen. Minimum of 10 yards every carry.

Leinster were poor but hard to judge they were missing a good few frontliners out of the pack. Nacewa is a good option, not involved enough at FB though so Id say he will be rotating with Sexton at 10 mainly.

BOD showed some good touces, one lovely break out of heavy traffic and made a superb tackle and turnover in the last play of the game on his own 22. Big play because Cardiff were teeing up for a late drop to win it and Robinson had already sloeed two DG. Leinster players were fair happy with BOD, they were all in for a fist pump and a pat on the back

Good start for Munster

Watched the Munster game this evening again.

They are far more advanced at this stage of the season than in previous years, they have probably been together more than in other seasons as well, including the mini tour to the US.

Earls was deserved MOTM, made about eight positive interventions with only one mistake all night at the very end. Hes got a big boot on him too, they seemed to rotate him into the FB position as well, as Howletts not a great kicker at all. He did well for try took a pass behind him and had a great break where he did chip and chase recovered and did another one and nearly scored, length of the pitch. He is seriously fast and bulky enough.
He has played a fair bit of rugby in the past 12 months with Garryowen Ireland A, he was at the Chuchill Cup. Scores a lot of tries too, one last night, couple v London Irish, couple v USA.

Munster have been lucky with Kelly & Horgan over the years, neither was an outstanding winger, but both of em had a real nose for the tryline. Hopefully Earls will continue this vein as neither Mafi or Tipoki are prolific despite there other qualities. Both were excellent and looked very lively in attack.

For Wallaces try the move was started in there own line when Earls spotted space and gaveHowlett the ball for a quick drop out. Went through sever or eight phases all over the pitch and Howlett made a clean line break and put Wallace over. Munster handling for the try was absolutely outstanding and there was a massive emphasis placed on finding the offload, mostly successfully in fairness.

Mcgahon has put his stamp on things as far as I can see, playing a less structured game now. Not sure is there an over reaction to the ELVs, both the teams kicked much more than is normal and game was very scrappy with both teams plaing a wide game. Like in the lineout, there can be as many players as you want in there, but this should make little difference really as most teams are just putting the same as they always would. But both lineouts were shocking, it was taking an age to get the ball in as well, head wrecking.

Real pity that they didnt get the bonus point, the real negative was the failure to add more scores when he had enough possession in the right places to do damage.

Overall Im pleased with the start to the season, good string of wins and scoring plenty tries. Beat a full strength London Ir last week and Irish beat Wasps yday in premier league. Tenous enough form line I know.

Tipoki also has a beard that makes him look fookin mental

Saw a bit of Nacewa over the weekend, this fellas existence is not going to be good news for any one of the following, Girv/Ledge/Kearns/Dorsh/Sexton.*

    • Have yet to hear a D4 moniker for Sexton.

Jonno no doubt

Kearny is a defo starter, the rest will rotate with Nacewa, Darcy will be lucky to get any game. You forgot about Fitz

Fitz = Luke = Luke the Ledge = Ledge.

But Kearney needs to play 15, its the position he was born to play.

for the junkies amongst us

Ospreys V Cardiff on setanta ireland now

Ospreys - 8 for me at 10/11
The extra days rest wil help them and they look stronger on paper.
Should be a decent game hopefully

Osrepys are playing very well.

whupped em 32-8

that extra days rest was very important

i see rougerie is out til after the new year with a shoulder injury…good news for munster as we play clermont back to back in december…

We? Where do you play?

I think he was referring to Munster as a “we”.

Didnt seem that difficult to understand to me, I doubt he’s Ronan O Gara like?

Didnt see last Fridays match… My mind was otherwise occupied last week. but now time to re-focus the attentions that the hurling is over. Might make a spin down to Musgrave sunday evening.

Things are shaping up well this year… expecting a big year from Earls and liekwise from Barry Murphy, if those lads can kick on they will be liek two new signings.

Good news on leamy from what i hear, he is coming on well

Ya I know, I just dont understand people reffering to soccer and rugby teams in the possessive tense.

well considering that i haven’t missed a home heineken cup amtch in 7 years or a magners league match in thomand park in about 5…also spending thousands of euro’s to attend away fixtures which isn’t easy when your a student i think i have earned the right to consider myself a fan of munster and by being a fan i think that i can consider myself a small part of the munster rugby family…

would you rather that i referred to an english premier league team in this manner rubber johnny…
