another super try there…

BP by half time at this rate. Leinster are cruising. Great work by Reddan to set that up, and not to forget O Driscolls tackle on Jones.

The work O’Driscoll did in the build up for that try was awesome. Could have taken a touch 30 metres back but hacked on very well and got up to and hammered Jones.

Very enterprising rugby from the whole team.

Some shite being talked there by Greenwood, O Driscoll has been shooting up out of the line for a long time before today.

Was just about to post that MBB. How could you work in the rugby media and not know that by now? Next he’ll be saying that he’s starting to compete in rucks.

Are you accusing Brian O’Driscoll of taking heroin to enhance his performance over the years? This is a very serious allegation.

London Irish have got their 4 tries in Brive to wrap up a bonus point. Would be slack of Leinster here not to pick up a bonus point after their first half dominance.

Yet another fucking rugby player stick a finger into someones eye, WTF is it?!

Who did what mbb???

Horgan but his hand over Lamonts face but never touched the eye. MBB trying to get a rise but failing miserably.

Super try by the Carlow beast to secure the bonus point. Reddan after giving an exibition in box kicking tonight as well. Super performance all round from Leinster so far. Great to see Paul OD getting a run now as well eh Bandage?

Mac I couldnt give a shite who he was or who he plays for, I was just pointing out that yet another rugby player has had a go at a players eye area. Horgan had no need to go to the face like he did, it was totally reckless. Get over yourself.

Take a deep breath and relax lad.

I only saw the replay the once but it looked like Horgan has his hand on Lamonts head and Lamont turned his head so Shaggys hand ended up over his face unintentionally more than anything else. I’ll bow to your obvious superior knowledge of pretty much everything.

A fuckin super weekend for all Irish provinces. Connacht also beat Worcester 26-21 in Worcester. Carr, Keatley and Cronin with tries. Take a bow all 4 provinces

Good performance by Leinster tonight but plenty of scope for improvement too. The intensity and physicality of the first half display combined with poise and class was a joy to behold. Kearney and Nacewa were very impressive indeed and Cian Healy has been key to strengthening the pack.

I thought Sean O’Brien did pretty well again but Sky Sports’ praise of his display was a bit over the top in my opinion - a poor knock on and a cheap penalty concession in quick succession ultimately resulted in Llanelli’s try but he was very good nonetheless.

Another concern is D’Arcy’s tackling - it seems he’s wary of his previous arm injury at times and his effort, along with Berne, in preventing the try wasn’t good enough. He appears to be holding back a bit and trying to drag lads down rather than going fully in with the arm on occasion and it’s allowing the opposition front foot ball. We might also struggle without a really abrasive #6 as the tournament progresses but we can’t keep pining for Elsom.

I also think the TV footage was fairly conclusive in showing Shane Horgan did nothing untoward in that incident in the second half despite MBB’s outrage.

Up Leinster. Fuck the other provinces.

which one of the 3 he scorched for opening try were you hoping to take horgan for pace kev…

Well, some of the Munster supporters on here were writing Horgan’s playing obituary around 18 months ago but I strongly refuted that suggestion at the time. His European Cup winning season last year confirmed I was correct.

i think the commentator said he has scored the same amount of tries as brian o ’ driscolll has in heineken cup…

25 tries each in the competition. Not sure how many test match tries Horgan has - the legendary Brian O’Driscoll has 38 tries for Ireland in 96 tests.

Can’t believe anyone is suggesting Horgan went for the eye last night, just a bit of a grapple and as your man turned around Horgan’s hand ended up on his face. Nothing more to it.

Actually thought he had a poor game. Started very well of course but he’d a few sloppy knock-ons and he was missing in defence a couple of times.

Interesting point on D’Arcy bandage, I agree he’d have probably stopped the try in years gone by. When someone else is there to make the hit he still has excellent driving tackles, he had one cracking effort in the first half where he won the turnover from sheer power, but he may well be looking after the arm in the initial hit.

Reddan and Boss really put it up to O’Leary yesterday. Both of them kicked and passed far better than Toms seems capable of and the usual defensive aspects of O’Leary’s game were missing on Friday night. He’s not the form scrum half anyway.
