Heāll be tied up for all other European teams after Friday so I would imagine he will jump at the chance of staying with Munster, isnāt there a limit to the amount of foreign players a team can have?
Melck has really impressed, and deserves an extenstion, but after Williams arrives the PAG may not allow it, as him being there only stops one more Irish player getting games time.
When is Williams due in town?
yaeh but munster mightnāt keep him all the sameā¦althougfh i would expect him toi stay til the end of the seasonā¦with everyone fit your looking at quinlan, leamy, wallace, williams, ryan, o sullivan, ronan, coughlan etc with the likes of melbourne and o mahoney in the A sideā¦we would have plenty of strength in depthā¦
although in saying that i hope they keep himand he improves as he seems a useful enough playerā¦

december i believeā¦think he after having an op on his shoulder although i could be wrongā¦
by the way what has become of brian carneyā¦this time last year he was a first choice winger now he is struggling to get a game with the Aāsā¦horgan is now ahead of him in the pecking orderā¦shame as he was a superb league playerā¦
i think the situation remains that you can roster 3 ātop-rateā foreigners (howlett and tipoki, plus williams i assume) and a further 3 on ādevelopmentā contracts (mafi in the past, may qualify through residency now, just canāt play for ireland, melck i assume since heās only on a 3-month deal)
heāll probably end up hanging around like cameron jowitt with leinster.
Cameron Jowitt, a backpacker who got lucky if ever I saw one.

he played for the As against leinster just before the magners game in the RDS.
heās pushing on and i think he realistically aimed for the world cup in 07 (when oāsullivan leap-frogged him into the squad amid much chatter to the media and then promptly left him holding a tackle bag) and anything after that was a bonus.
yeah think you are spot on treaty exileā¦dan carter mentioned the breakdown of this beforeā¦think puciarello is alright as he is an E.U resident and i think that warwick has citizenshipā¦with melck mafi and manning on development contracts and the other three on top rateā¦
justin seems to have a bit more about him than cameron jowittā¦
mbb, thatās either a subtle joke gone way over my head, or wonderfully prescient talent-spotting from you.
the spiel the leinster branch gave the IRFU at the time was that jowitt was back-packing around europe and played a bit of junior rugby in dublin, and if itās not too much trouble, do you mind if we give him a contract?
Whoās this āWilliamsā guy you Munster supporters are talking about? Back row option?
nick williams bandageā¦plays for the auckland blues and has signed for munsterā¦should be along in decemberā¦ from what i have heard from lads who are in the know they make out that he is a talented back row forward who can play at both 6 and 8ā¦played in nearly all of the blues games in the super 14 this seasonā¦
A poor manās Cameron Jowitt. Next.
if you say so:pā¦
a poor, if somewhat telegraphed repost.
leinster team for the weekend:
G Dempsey; S Horgan, L Fitzgerald, B OāDriscoll, R Kearney; F Contepomi, C Whitaker; S Wright, B Jackman, CJ van der Linde; L Cullen (capt), D Toner, R Elsom, S Jennings, J Heaslip.
Replacements: J Fogarty, C Healy, T Hogan, S Keogh, C Keane, J Sexton, G Brown.
doesnāt say much for trevor hogan(who i always rated highly form his shannon days) that he canāt get a run in the team ahead of devon toner
Dr Phil at 10 soā¦
Sexton hasnāt been up to it at all this yearā¦ he seems to be trying too hard or soemthing.
Poni hasnt been much better though, he was pure shite against Munster and looks to be goign through the motions.
Kearney, when playing 15 has been their one shining light, but again we see his stuck out wide. The centre partnership will be interesting, but they are two greedy fcukers so the ball may not get beyond the 13 channel much.
Up front, Stan Wright is as bad a player as I have seen in the front row. CJ is getting pinged by the refs since he came over with his illegal scrummaging which has been flagged in all the papers, and while Jackman is great in the loose he wouldnt hit a bulls arse with a banjo when put under pressure. Cullen is good, very goodā¦ but Devon Toner has close to zero in terms of handling skills.
Back row is savage on paper and its about time they put down a marker. Leinster will win, but not in the fashion they should.
Still tickets available for Thomond Park tonight (well there was an hour ago anyways).
doesnāt say much for sexton, iād imagine heās now 3rd choice out-half for leinster behind nacewa.
come to think of it, when a guy who was described as a āutility backā in NZ is your no.1 outhalf and he only in the country a wet week, it doesnāt say much for any of the team or coaching staff.
