yeah, drinking a bucket of maximusle a day would fuck you up allright
Heard on Matt Cooper last night that it was ā¬50 for stand tickets for the Munster v Leinster game at the weekend. Thatās fucking disgraceful for a league game. Same price as the AIF replay.
tards like you still paid it tho
Sure no wonder it was only half full. Theyāll be lucky to sell out any game this year.
Not half full.
It certainly was half full. Perhaps even more.
Leinster have been sold a pup here. He has done a hammy twice already. Now that could be partially the Conditioing staff not preparing him for the slight more aerobic Union and longer speed endurance training, but it could also him not preparing properly.
He showed glimpses of his talent the last day against Munster, but he is definitely on an end of career cheque pick up. Bizarre use if a foreign player slot.
20,000 was the attendance per newspaper. So 6000+ short of the supposed capacity of 26500
They sneakily count all the season tickets sold too, actual attendance was well below the official.
@caoimhaoin, why is this dumb? Itās fact. I was clearly exaggerating/joking about half full but the actual attendance was well below the 20k announced.
Well we are only two and a half weeks away from the quarter final showdown with gloucesterā¦i personally think it could be a very tough game, gloucester have been a bit patchy of late but with the likes of balshaw vanikolo(thought both were average at best the 6 natios) patterson narroway to name a few away on 6 nations duty they will improveā¦thankfully we have two games to prepare for this and apart from david wallace(heard unconfirmed reports he is out from a reliable source) we seem to have reasonably good bill of healthā¦leamy despite coming off early on saturday is alrightā¦
Kidney has a few tough choices to make especially at 11,14 and 15ā¦the front 5 picks itself with o connell coming in for mickā¦quinlan will probably replace wallaceā¦with tipoki and mafi in the centreā¦i personally think that he will keep payne at full back as it is away from home and he is solid as a pervebial rock with howlett on the right wing which leaves it a straight shoot out between dowling and carneyā¦although he could put howlett to full with dowling and carney on the wingsā¦
my selection
payne, howlett, tipoki, mafi, dowling, rodge, strings, axel, quinny, leamy, o connell, o callaghan, horan, flannery, hayes
subs: sheahan, mushie, mick, coughlan/ronan, o leary, warwick, carney
P.S fair play to castletroy yesterday winning the senior cup, huge achievmentā¦
what an absolute cunt of a post.
Puke you were some horrible uncle tom back in the day
United do this all the time. Police figures often show discrepancies of 10,000 - 20,000 between the reported and actual attendances.
Gerry Thornley reckoned the actual attendance was 17-18,000
There we go then. He wouldnāt normally be a man to talk down rugby.
Nobody questions Gerry T on Irish Rugby matters
My thoughts exactly. If Gerry says its 17-18,000 thatās the most it was.
+1
Gerry Thornley knows the score
Why is 17-18 k seen as a poor crowd? Itās good for a league game.
Not as good as a Wexford home hurling league game, but a decent size all the same.
You must consider the Limerick bandwagoners would have used a lot of the bandwagoning tokens going to hurling games this year. They are probably burnt out from it as well. Itās pretty difficult to maintain dual band wagoning in fairness. Not like the early 90ās when watching Tipp and Cork hurling up a storm seemed to go hand in hand with the World Cup
