Harnedy was the difference there. Horgan was keeping Cork ticking all through, but once Harnedy got more involved the ball was sticking in the Cork forwards.

Both huge for Cork, when Lehane finds his form they will take some stopping. Ellis to come back too a big positive.

Waffle.
Cork stopped Clares defenders launching it in on top of him by simply working harder.
Clare also lost the short puck out option too & Touhy crumbled. He will have to be replaced if Clare have any chance of recovering now.
Cork are unreal to watch when their dander is up. Went unbeaten in the group stage, deserved Munster champions.

A bump in the road for this Clare side. They are a better side than Cork and I still think they’ll win the All Ireland. Perhaps they got a little distracted by the bit of a bandwagon behind them but they will recover from this I think

I’ve regarded this Cork side as very skillful, slick and great to watch when they click, but felt they had a bit of a soft centre and could be roughed up and knocked out of their stride. But that was very impressive today to tough it out, come through their bad spell and win fairly convincingly in the end despite being 8 points behind at one stage. Their defensive realignment at half time worked very well and Fitzgibbon, Horgan and Harnedy were tremendous.

Cork put a man back in front of conlon and he hoovered up ball. Tuohy tried to hit Kelly and duggan and corks half back line cleaned up.
The game was won in the backs for cork.
