Based on that first weekend hurling is in a bit of a crisis.
Not one decent game.
He’s like a quarterback trying to engineer a score from his own end zone with ten seconds left, and getting blitzed every time.
Some of those Cork players would be afraid to walk into a dark room, as a hurling man once said.

Defeat isn’t so bad when there’s a bit of direction & effort on show.
Take Tipp today, there was a definite effort and an allowance to hurl in the moment on show.
Cork lost today by sticking far too rigidly to the game plan when it was imploding.
