I think Waterford beating Cork at home will be enough.

Cork’s score difference is terrible and bad and all as Tipp are (and we are desparate), I don’t forsee Cork running up an absolute cricket score.

Clare could easily beat Limerick in Ennis too leaving it

Waterford would have the head2head on Cork too.

Waterford should be fine, so long as they beat Cork at home and don’t get hammered by Clare.

Assuming Limerick beat Tipp, Kiely will send the footballers to Ennis. Not two fucks will he give.

It will be closer, but I think lads are underestimating just how good Waterford are. I think they’d be far more difficult opponents for Galway than Limerick would. Galway never feared Limerick.

I suppose in fairness Stephen Bennett isn’t on the cusp of being the all time championship scorer.

As an aside I’m struggling to think of the last time a free taker went for a goal from a free (in inter county).

I doubt it. i’d say he will start Richie English, Reidy, CON and maybe Pat Ryan and Coughlan who didn’t start the last day and that would be the long and short of it. It isn’t Kiely’s style to just give lads jerseys/starting spots that haven’t been earned.

I’d say it’ll be a ready up between the neighbours to knock a dangerous Waterford out of the championship, like the time West Germany and Austria played out a disgraceful draw in the 1982 World Cup. Kinnerk will be on the blower to his buddies in Clare.
