I’d say he sees the writing on the wall in terms of starting in next few years. Especially with system the team play. A big commitment for an impact sub. Plus a fair bit of milage on the clock for a modern day IC player. What year was his debut? 2011 or 2012?

A few years back that wasn’t much but in the modern game, 8 or 9 full seasons on the bounce plus a busy club schedule is fair going for an amateur sport at the end of the day

If he did it on the public street it’s an actionable offence.

Was Ronan Maher’s challenge on Casey really all that bad?

Granted Casey came off far worse given the size and strength difference between the two and the fact Maher came from his blind side but it was an excellent flick and he was somewhat entitled to follow through with his momentum. I thought Duignan and Canning made far more of it.

Good post. He got the ball and its not like he could get out of the way then once the ball was gone. The follow through looked bad in slow motion alright

2012 i think. I was wondering today is he carrying an injury may be . He only came on after 63 minutes which is ten minutes later than id Have expected. He hasn’t really made any impact in the 5 games which is unlike him. Well need him to start making an impact you’d feel as the bench isn’t what it was last year. You’d sense he hates being a sub too and for 12 months now He’s been pushing hard for a place since being dropped and the one chance he gets v tipp and a few key players are dropped and everybody including himself underperforms. It has to be tough to take.

I go through phases of listening to the GAA hour but you’d get sick of him fairly quickly. His excitable whiny tone wears thin fairly quick.
