Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 1)

They should have gotten the UKā€™s government to cover the costs not the 5 parties who canā€™t form a local government and its one t in commitment.

Correcting spelling errors now. Jesus wept.

Amhran na bhFiann is always disgracefully disprescted by gga muldoons at matches, the last verse being drowned out by drunken louts roaring and shouting, actually, what is even more funny is that 95% of the Orish canā€™t even speak their own language proper and donā€™t even know the words to it

ah stop, its gas when you think about it, sure Mickey Harte got all those Tyrone Brits into a room in 2003 and he learned them the Anthem proper in about 2 minutes and they could sing better than any of the gga muldoons

shur maybe we could sing Irelandā€™s Callā€¦actually no fuck it we will continue mumbling

Cahermee brought this thing to a head .

Thereā€™s a quite lovely and true story about the Lancashire County final a few years back.
As usual they hired a bagpiper from somewhere who couldnā€™t play amhran na bfhiann. Only this lad really couldnā€™t. He was a jock who couldnā€™t even make a stab at it.
The impasse was surmounted by a local builder driving his pickup into the middle of the pitch, opening the doors and giving it max volume on the cassette player in the car, as the lads stood to attention, arm across chest and tears of pride rolling down their faces.

@Fagan_ODowd

Youā€™re spot onā€¦a motorway from Limerick to Cork would only benefit those cunts down there with capital expenditure long term.

Limerick needs to promote itself along with its hinterland of Tipperary and Clare and give the 2 fingers to those English Market bastards.

Cork is a very parochial and Clannish place, they donā€™t like outsiders. They have the classic angry little many syndrome aswell, being the second or third city on the country, they are totally obsessed with Dublin

Thereā€™s no replying to that really.

He knows it from going to the rubby

Thereā€™s a lot going over your head these days pal.

Well this is embarrassing, it turns out that the last line in our Nstional anthem is not in fact, ā€˜shoving Connie around the greenā€™ :pensive:
As one of the singing loud and proud brigade this is doubly troubling.

THERE were 13,558 tickets sold for last weekendā€™s Munster clash with Cardiff at Thomond Park.

The Pro14 tie saw Munster rack up a bonus point win against their Celtic cousins with relative ease.
The biggest news to come out of the day was not on the field. The figure given at the top of this piece was for ticket sales. The estimated number of people who turned up was 8,200.

That means that 40% of the people who had tickets for the game, be they part of season ticket packages or not, did not go to the game.

Why? You may ask. Well, there are several factors.

The weather was good, so families might have decided to go away for the weekend.

Good weather cited as a reason for a poor turnout  5,300 free tickets to the game that people literally couldnā€™t give away.

Or didnā€™t try to.

Unusual for the Leader to draw attention to this  That disparity has been going on for years for Pro12/14/Āæ games
