Thank God the first post on this thread was a mile off the mark. What a difference two years makes.

Jj is coming home and Jaco Tuate to stay for the rest of the season.

Has there been a sighting of the exact positioning of JJā€™s tail?

Why? He was always going to come back. He went off and made a few quid for himself and got some good experience playing in a different league. Munster will get a better player back. Worked out well for all parties.

Heā€™s coming back after being injured for practically two seasons. Depending on the terms of the contract, Iā€™d be interested to see how much quid he made, and how itā€™ll affect his long term prospects. Had he stayed at Munster he could have cemented the number 10 position (as Keatley disintegrated) and most likely better looked after. Heā€™s now coming back to a future of being a utility player most likely unless something happens Blyendahl (sp), the exact situation he kicked up against in the first place.

I wouldnā€™t be as convinced as you that it worked out for all parties at all.

Heā€™s actually less likely to be a starter next season than he was when he left. As you said he needs an injury to Bleyendal to get in at 10 and Scannell is the best back we have produced in 20 years heā€™s nailed on starter at 12 fitness permitting.

Saying all that JJ probably collected bones of 400k euro for the few years but stg rate, how shit Northampton are and likely lack of opportunity there when young Mallinder is fit again made it an easy decision. Brilliant signing for munster anyways Iā€™m delighted with it if it is true. Hopefully he will get his mojo back. Goalkicking generally very good.

Wheretoo now for Ian that is the questionā€¦

A much more valid question. For a second there, I could have been forgiven for thinking all you were interested in was making a sneery comment

You must have misunderstood, all my statements are sneery. You prick.

To Connacht or Hellā€¦

He didnā€™t know he would be injured when he left and didnā€™t know Blydendaal would be injured for 2 years. He made a lot more in Northampton than he wouldā€™ve made at Munster.

The concern would be that he is coming back because Blydendaal is leaving.

In fairness to you, that is true. You sneery cunt

He would go there Iā€™d say had a good experience there before. Heā€™s not good enough for them either unfortunately

Out of contract end of season. Also international qualified. Iā€™d say we will break bank to keep him. I think he will stay

Hopefully heā€™ll stay and he kind of owes the team after they paid him for 2 years without barely kicking a ball. But it was the first thing that came into my head when I heard the news today.

Agreed. Will come down to money though. Iā€™d say IRFU have so much spent on him so far they will pony up whatā€™s required when he will be international option.
