Munster Rugby - We DID start the fire (Part 2)

Iā€™d love to see how they spend it. Couldnā€™t even comprehend where it would go

Professional coach will eat up some of it?

They would but Iā€™d say 150k would be a massive number to put on that director of rugby role. Leo Cullen wouldnt be on much more.

Wouldnā€™t be massively surprised all the same if they were blowing that money but Iā€™d love to see the breakdown of it

Itā€™s quite clear that Leinster need to move to Ulster

Itā€™s amazing investors havenā€™t bought a club like cork city in soccer and just invested heavily into developing young players from 12 to under 18.

Theyā€™d make it back in transfers over a period of time.

Leinster basically have 16 mini academies that they are pumping money into. They donā€™t really have to do any scouting.

It tallies too that I felt having played soccer, rugby, hurling and football as youngster. We should have been good at soccer but we were crap by 15 or 16.

There was way too many clubs and the standard was woeful.

If say come under 14 there was only 16 clubs in the whole county the standard would be much higher and players would be developing naturally.

If Iā€™m not mistaken Leinsters full time coaches like Lancaster or whoever are coaching schools teams.

Andy Farrell was involved with blackrock too.

When I was in College myself and my housemates made a promise that if any of us ever became millionaires, weā€™d buy Cork City and get them into the Champions League.

Would developing St. Michaels into an LOI team and then into a CL team not be the ultimate journey?

Few millionaires have tried and failed that

ā‚¬315 for next years season ticket is a bit muchā€¦

Trying to get a bit of good news out there?

Leo would be on ā‚¬300k or so a year.

If the contention is they are spending ā‚¬2m a year on coaches then it is absolute bullshit.

Weā€™d be realistic enough to know that Tipp is too much of a Hurling County to ever get the buy in from the general public to get it properly off the ground.

Cork has massive potential though.

No they come in and do some coaching clinics from time to time with all schools coaches.

Try being a billionaire first.
Then that.
Then youā€™ll be a millionaire

16 quid into an intermediate club hurling game in Galway, so itā€™s not bad if thereā€™s a good few games.

Funny I said Iā€™d Always help the homeless all around Ireland.

Then Iā€™d buy a heap of show jumpers and disappear into obscurity.

Does that include the European games?

Prob not getting a ticket for Ireland rugby game for less than 125.

I

Iā€™m on about Cork City!
