Munster Rugby

Lot of guys there lucky to be pros, backs and forwards. Beirne and Crowley basically are that team. No point talking about most of them but Nash will hardly play for Ireland again.

They’ve disgraced themselves anyway really. Poor handling and blown out of it over the ball. Lineout a mess too.

And we’ve no Hoggie here for an aul tap over consolation

Na Piarsaigh clubhouse is hurting here

Didn’t see it but that’s an awful hammering. Did they pick the wrong coach with this fella and letting prendergast go? It’s worse they’re getting all season. O’Gara had a comment a while back that Munster were playing good stuff under Prendergast as interim coach, implication that less so under McMillan.

Don’t know is it as simple as that he inherited a squad stuffed with players not good enough. Especially up front. You disagree I know and don’t start again but the hiding the front row got today was just embarrassing and the lineout was as bad. Not one international standard player amongst em. No front row and no half backs it is very hard to win games

That’s the worst hiding I’ve seen a pro front row get bar Ireland v Portugal last summer. Twas every scrum

They’d be better off with an AIL back 3 and a competent professional front row, they’ve the opposite

My biggest lol out of it was JJ and Haley seem to be afraid of their lives of hitting it straight out on every kick return, brother let rip, you don’t pack what you think

As well off to send Ayatollah home and find another prop in the AIL or on the PBC team

Forwards probably going to be shown up more against a better SA team but I’m not convinced the squad is that bad. Sounded like catching and passing the ball was as big a problem. And wasn’t world cup winner jean kleyn among them.

It’s very hard when the scrum is on wheels.

A sharks knock on basically turned into a penalty for them.

It’s a complete mind fuck.

Tom wood and o riordan are serious upgrades on the half backs we had yesterday.

I wouldn’t be overly worried because if the
Scrum is fixed it’ll fix a lot of problems.

Squad isn’t that bad but the front row stocks are. You could put the SA back 5 of pack behind that Munster front row and it wouldn’t sort the problem. I don’t know do you not understand that point or are you just being awkward. Them front rows then need to dust themselves off after an absolute milling at the scrum where they have conceded a pen and trundle down to lift in a defensive lineout, defend a maul make dozens of tackles etc. no scrum no party

Thank god they weren’t there yday they would have been traumatised
