Munster Rugby

Will go a long way anyway but it has been broken for a long time and it is not easy to fix

Bulls next now and they haven’t been going all that well this season, but they seconded Flannery and Felix down there for the down time of 6 nations to give coaching team a hand…that is some luxury to have!!!

Ya I want them to play as much as possible but there’s a time and a place as well tbf.

There is no game left where you’d bank on muster winning. Not easy to blood lads then.

Judging by the selection they targeting that game anyway.

Yeah fair enough. Dunno does it explain the whole team not being able to catch or pass the ball but anyway I didn’t see the game yesterday so can’t comment. Hard one to turn around while on the road now.

First the fans killed axel, now they’ve killed Munster

Abraham’s is leaving.

Decent player but need money spent elsewhere imo.

I think that’s a pity, outside of Nash it’s a pedestrian set of outside backs they have.

Ah lads…this is a professional set up supposedly?

I’m not sure these things should malfunction because coaches are away for a few days.

Oh for sure but surely they have full time coaches? Are things that tight that they only have part timers? The optics as they say aren’t good.

Id say we can all agree it doesn’t help either

True but still

Think Alex codling was part time last year and full time this year.

You’d wonder are they jumping ship I’m not sure tbh.

Jackman was saying money is seriously tight and suggested tough conversations were had with players who weren’t being kept on.

Whatever about no money for players. Having a really poor roster of front row players and then doubling down on the problem by having an inexperienced part time scrum coach is ridiculous

Very odd.

Kleyn and Abraham’s are big Contracts.

They should invest in better coaches.

Front rows and full time coaches

Josh wycherly was mom in a game v clermont away the same night Limerick beat Waterford in the all Ireland closed doors final.

6 years later and he’s still 10 kg too light.

It’s mental stuff.

They’ve no money because people are sick of paying at the gate to see that pack of forwards, particularly the front row. There should be no Abrams, no Nvankavill, no U20 NZ scrumhalf. We have competent backs in Munster, we don’t have competent front rows.

They need to go out and get them, they don’t have to be superstars, just competent. Go out to Pro D2, scout a Georgian or a French fella that can do the job. Lower end URC teams are winning scrums against the head for YEARS against Munster. There is no other sports team in the world like this, that buys wingers and centres and back rows and nines while the scrum is demolished not some weeks, but every week.

Leinster will produce enough for Ireland, I think Humphreys knows the big thing is to get Munster back competitive, they’ve signed a top ten in the world hooker, Milne is better than what he showed last Saturday. They might get in a tight head as Ireland are set okay there. Brighter days ahead.
