That was a serious game. Tipperary fought for their lives and thoroughly deserved at least a draw.
Cork will find it very difficult to raise it again against Limerick on Saturday. Six day turnaround and Limerick coming in after a weekās break. They could be ripe for the picking. Their subs were very poor and they donāt look to have a strong panel.
That was as good a game of anything as I have ever seen. Fair fucking play to tipp. What a ferocious work rate. Brilliant brilliant spectacle, from the brilliance of Cork in the first half to the ferocity, doggedness and skill of tipp in the second.
A shout out to callinan. Ran himself into the ground. Iām very warming to to this new format.
The lads who stood out today for me,
Sean OāBrien - fine second half
Ronan Maher - used possession well throughout
John McGrath - scores & passing
Noel McGrath - outstanding
Forde - great goal & hit all the frees needed.
Billy McCarthy is growing into it, Hogan doing okay in goal. Mouse had a better second half.
Callanan also improved in the second half but he needs something to fall for him to get his confidence back. Bubbles a better option that Bonner. Bonner has fucked his starting chances after today, hopefully he can make an impact from the bench.
Full Back still a massive problem, donāt think Kennedy is the answer. Paudie probably the best option & move Kennedy to the wing with Ronan at CB.
A midfield partner for McCarthy another big issue.
A win today changed everything but the draw just might not be enough.
Correct. The added advantage being they were out on their feet at full time after that come back. Let Tipp do what they want. That battle has taken its toll on them as well
