Yup and the last time they won senior county it was 2019 coincidentally the same year Limerick failed to make the final and they had the extra bit of freshness in the legs.
Tell that to the Ballymun Kickhams clubmen…
Was that the year they went off sunning themselves after the Co. Final only to come back to a damp Walsh Park for the Munster Club and got absolutely hammered by Ballygunner?
At least the much-maligned Ballymun boys gave their club one day in Croke Park…
You going to ignore how you got caught contradicting yourself again?
They did to be fair. Albeit they made a solid cunt of that.
Are you going on about the Winter Blitz in front of Rob Ryan and the few journalists again?
It’s your obsession not mine.
I have seen the vast majority of Patrickswell games over the past few years and there’s no way I’d have Byrnes as having played better than Gillane.
Byrnes is generally decent but has the same problem as any back at club level has; there’s only so much he can do when teams actively avoid him. Finn at 6 for Bruff has the same issue.
Gillane destroys opposition with his ballwinning ability and goal threat. Now, he probably relies on service from the likes of Byrnes, fair enough, but he’s consistently a threat.
Lynch is a weird one in that he usually plays well but looking for little passes and bringing other players into the game is probably less valuable when the players around aren’t as good. He should be more selfish at club level. He won’t destroy you on his own the way the likes of Tom, Nash, Gillane, Kyle, Casey do.
Tony Kelly has a lovely way of dominating a game at Club level and still be able to make his teammates look better than they are.
Is there a reason why the decline in Tipperary hurling but also the decline in Kilkenny’s fortunes has led to two very different outcomes. Tipperary have been powder puff in their exits while Kilkenny fight tooth and nail to the bitter end to try and grind a result. The Tipperary crowd are very soft.
Sure Tony has loads to show for all of this. One All Ireland and a Munster club is it.
Gutless is the word you are looking for there.
No, he doesn’t.
Scandalous, over the shoulder 1s
Ah he does so he does.
The talk from them this year about improvement, only for Foudy they would have two draws to show for it, one against Cork who could only beat Waterford and one against Limerick who were just tipping along.
A decent haul coming from a weaker club in a weaker county.
I’d say the people of Patrickswell might remember and care
We will remember exactly what I posted above.
