Waterford really feeling Prunty loss at full back. Are they zonal marking or what, none of their defenders/midfield seems to tracking Clare runners? Those goals conceded were beyond soft. It’s a pity because they’re doing lots of good stuff at the other end of the field. Would like to see a bit more from Dessie. Bennett & Mahony doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Clare did get some beautiful scores to be fair to them.
If our backs come up with the novel idea of not overplaying it we have a chance. Any contested ball we put pressure on them. When they tire and we stick with it we have a shout.

Clare’s goals are masking a lacklustre enough performance by them. Their point shooting has been poor. Waterford haven’t threatened the goal at all though.
It’s fairly constipated stuff all round.
