He really wanted to……
Can the Tippos kindly fuck off out of here until next year please… no one gives a fuck what you losers have to say.
I do.
Your heart is too big. It’s the best and worst of you
Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once, and it’s too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to burst… And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can’t feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life…
Is it a great piece? I respectfully wonder.
If nothing else, that piece is at least three years too late. For another thing, said piece was only written because ‘throwing’ is now the GAA topic du jour – three years too late. That piece is the equivalent of this week’s shade of lipstick in a 1980s teen magazine.
The main reason, to me, that piece is far from even a good piece? Because there is no mention of Dónal Óg Cusack, Davy Fitzgerald and Derek McGrath. They are the most vocal advocates of throwing-based hurling. Having a pop at Limerick is easy. Calling out that kind of insidious embedded opinion would actually take courage.
@carryharry Barry Kelly was put in charge of the committee to investigate teams limericking it to each other. He was the ref in 2017 as the picture helpfully shows. He’s the expert, he didn’t get it wrong. Coen dint throw it. Fuck tipp.
I consider any piece that calls out the rule as a great piece, after all, what is rare is wonderful.
Hurling as a game is a farce with the let it flow merchants. Steps and throws ignored, the spare hand tackle an ugly bye product of all of this. There is no dissenting voice in the media, its a group think similar to many other forms of MSM. Dalo and TJ Ryan are arguably worse than Donal Og, Derek etc with their constant pleas to let it flow.
My solution is that if the majority want throws and steps then lets change the rule and have it in writing.
Poor aul Conor O’Donovon bating doors on the issue with years to no acclaim
You’re about 15 years late for most of that.
No one listens to that Judas

Fair enough. And I strongly agree with you, as you know.
Handpass needs to be deleted.
Wtf - how long has Fergie O’Loughlin been involved with Davy in Waterford?
Never copped it until today
Davy stressed looking already
Davy stressed looking already
Have you seen him look any other way on a field?
That open stand really comes into its own on a day like today
Breen injured in warm up for Tipp. A late change to be made
Mikey Kiely a sub?! dont agree at that
might be an injury at play
Davy allowing Barry Nash hurl up the field.
