On the balance of play cork probably deserved that. Left a couple of goals behind them in the first half while credit to limerick to forcing the mistakes the three goals they gave Limerick were very avoidable.
Brian Hayes gave a performance today that I didn’t think he had in him. Was a huge outlet for them throughout which Limerick never got to grips with.
Limerick to their credit were excellent for 20 odd minutes of that second half but couldn’t kill cork off.
Thought Stack had a very good game and facilitated a fine contest

He was nothing to do with the result but first half he missed 4 of the most blatant frees you’ll ever see against Limerick.
I hope Brian Gavin recognises it on Monday.
Well done cork. Enthralling stuff. Cork deserved it although limerick were outstanding in the second half.
But what the f was Sean ó Donohoe at? He must be the most relieved man in the world tonight.

I think that’s fair enough. The damage was done in first half. Couldn’t handle the route one.
