Didnāt last long. Who was shouldering him after the whistle was blown after he won the first (think it was the first) free?
Heās in āafraid to go into a dark room on his ownā territory in my ledger at the moment, which is a poor state of affairs from a team captain.
From what I know Lohan is genuinely excited about a lot of the younger players coming through and Iād say he will probably go on for another year at least. It is a big commitment and he has six years done and has gotten about as much as possible from the group of players. Iād say he might step aside if a decent number of the core decide to retire and let someone at it but Iād say given the injuries id expect him and a few of the older lads back.
Thatās because he did his trademark starfish swan dive.
I canāt tell if you are taking the piss or not but you canāt lay a finger on that fucker without him ending up wailing on the floor.
The Frankie Carroll game.
Two great days.
Below in Cork for the replay in the blzing sun and a feed of drink afterwards.
My auld lad would get me in free to all games at GG. That day I was stuck inside in the wheelchair section .

The crossover between Limerick hurling aficionados and Munster rubby is nowhere near as big as you think.
Keeping the powder dry must be the motto this week
The Limerick lads are quiet on account of their beloved Clare losing over the weekend. My thoughts in the aftermath of Saturdays result was for the Limericks who were in the greyhound in Thurles the opening day, who were swinging from the rafters as Clare denied Cork with a stirring comeback. Of course the Scarlets win vs Lions further dampened the Limerick lads spirits as it put Munsters playoff chances out of reach. Giveāem a few more days and theyāll be full of the joys of life again.
Is there a better option than Lohan available?
Probably not but Lohan hadnāt exactly a stellar CV before taking the job either.
I thought he spoke extremely well to the media in the aftermath of the game.
Seems a genuinely nice man who is driven to do well for the County. If there are young lads coming with a chance of progressing then Iād want him in charge tbh.
Also, had Duggan received a better pass at the death the whole story could be very different for Clare & Tipp.
Clare had a number of openings down the stretch but lacked the composure to take them. Galvin when he got inside Breen, David Fitz overcarrying, the loopy ball to Duggan when he was wide open that allowed Shelley to cover, the final Taylor pass etc - Story of their season, just not sharp enough when needed
The Munster Championship is a marathon not a sprint. Its new to ye to have an interest past the third round.
Hmm
Iām not sure what you want me to add on last week when i said we will wipe the floor with em?
Itās great to see the Tipp lads rediscovering their moxy. A few of ye might even travel the next day.
