I think limerick with a full squad - or one or two of the injured lads even - win last yearâs semi final. Cork seem to be improved on last year, not clear by how much theyâre better. I think limerick are improved on last yearâs semi final. Limerick appear to be bringing players back to fitness and contention as the season goes on. English and OâBrien are massive additions. Measuring off last yearâs semi I think limerick are improved more but weâll see how it shakes out.
Iâd say the three other semi finalists would be hoping to draw Tipp for a semi, if they get there.
Lets say the other three Semi Finalists are Limerick, Cork and Kilkenny.
Each of those counties were swatted aside by Tipperary in their last Croke Park encounter by a cumulative total of 48 points.
Only the Down footballers come close to matching a Tipperary Hurling team when it comes to growing another leg in Croke Park.
Just a pity they rarely reach Croke Park unless the likes of Laois stand in their way
Nice position for Tipp to be in, total underdogs. Still doesnât change that in such a scenario Tipp would be the choice opponent for the other three.
Meyler was very bullish for 8 in the morning.
Youâd nearly forget heâs a blow in.
Limerick are improved from last year? They obliterated Tipp last year and won the Munster Final convincingly enough. Fair enough they were caught on the hop by Cork but Iâm not sure how you can say theyâve improved on the basis of one game in Walsh Park where they kept Waterford at arms length. Sure they beat Waterford by a bigger margin 12 months ago.
Waterford played right into Limerickâs hands in Walsh Park. Putting out a team of midget forwards and pucking the ball down on top of them wasnât the smartest game plan.
I was measuring off the semi final.
I donât see anything other than a comprehensive Cork victory. Iâm attending out of pure hope and godhelpusness

I donât see anything other than a comprehensive Cork victory.
It will be a pleasure to be able to tell the grandchildren in years to come that you were there when this generational Cork team started their historic run.
Witnesses to history. This cork team could do three in a row or more. Imagine seeing something like that in your lifetime.
Jesus I hope weâre not as pathetic as the terrified Limericks by then
In true Tipp fashion, they sent out a flying column here today and they did some damage to King Johns Castle.
Whoâs terrified? Sure Iâm just telling ye cork only won last yearâs semi due to limerick being hampered by injuries and that limerick have improved more since that game than cork have.

Jesus I hope weâre not as pathetic as the terrified Limericks by then
You are utterly obsessed with âthe limericksâ. Must be 10 posts a day. Go out and get some fresh air, bud!
Would you say so? 10 a day
Jeez yeâre sensitive oul souls all the same
Trying to mansplain to the Limericks what the appropriate level of bullishness should be. Deary me!
@Batigol must be hitting 50
Iâve already said cork only won last yearâs semi due to limerickâs injuries.
Iâve said earlier this season that cork seem a bit over hyped to me.
Iâve said that limerickâs best players were all better than Corkâs best players.
Iâve said that only one or maybe two cork players are superior to their limerick counterparts.
Iâve also said cork are a serious team in great form.
How much more bullish do I have to be?
