I thought cork wouldnât improve this year alright but those extras gone could see them go backwards. I thought cussen was discarded a bit quick before though, he can be pretty effective.
Hear their is some hassle on the Cork Club front aswell with one rumours of a strike over the selection of a manager in one top club.
I assume you are talking about the Sparrow going to Newtown.
Clare will walk this.
Spit it out to fuck jimmy
I heard Mr OâConnor was shafted, and all the oâconnors and some others are refusing to play for the new management
Newtown are fucked for hurls so.
Great to have you on board Pal
Harry, what would you take as a good year for tipp this year?
it wouldnt be a new championship year if the cork boys werent whinging about something. Is sweetman contracted full time with the rugby now or what?
yeah sweetman contracted fulltime. development contract i think. big loss, looked the best of the young lads
Yes he is gone completely.
Hopefully OâShea will blood some new talent with an extended run in the league. Regaining the Munster title is an aim of course & hopefully making a better impression in Croke Park next time out.
Once the team shows more heart & fight than last year i will be happy.
Big year ahead for Galway flatty, what do you think yourself?
The sense I get from most tipp people is that anything but an all Ireland is failure

I could well be, be interesting to see what happens. Newtown were poor last year so a change in management seems a pretty obvious move.

[/quote] for tipp, well you never know who will turn up to be honest, but I genuinely think they have the hurlers to beat kk, and if they get themselves right, that should be the aim. Galway last year were absolutely a joy to follow. They manned up in every big game. More of the same would do just fine. They played with the pride that all of us would like to think we would if we had the strength and the skill. I was desperately proud of them. Even when playing well though they always looked a forward or two light. They didnt quite carry the threat across the line to really win it out. The lads may be there given another year, I donât know, but the same effort will be enough for me. My big worry is that I would prefer to see them on the other side of the draw in Leinster. They are likely to face kk with little behind them. I think limerick and Clare could have a say this year, I hope so. I thought cork would but they are a few down now. Iâd love to see tipp at full steam again. Hope it is a good championship any road and anyone bar kk wins it though I have the greatest respect for kk hurling. Hope Dublin come good again.
Not making a show of themselves would be a 100% improvement for a start
Fully agree mixer. Anymore input?
Tipp and Galway have named very strong teams.
Padraig Maher starting centre back with Brendan Maher half back. Theyâll bury Cork
