Natural Disasters

Well then, i heard wrong

My thoughts? , Disney World is currently closed due to Hurricane Milton. The parks began a phased closure on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, with Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom closing at 1 PM, followed by Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney Springs at 2 PM. Disney World is expected to remain closed through Thursday, October 10, as the hurricane impacts central Florida. They may reopen Disney Springs later on Thursday, depending on the stormā€™s progress. Many outdoor attractions, resorts, and events like the Halloween party have also been canceled, and transportation services have been suspended

I was watching CNN earlier and they said Disneyland would be closing in the afternoon. However the storm should have calmed down a lot by the time it gets that far.

The Mayor if Tampa has just asked the last few hangers in in Tampa to leaveā€¦ And has said that your home wonā€™t be here when you return.

I have a friend in West Palm Beach. She is very nervous but I think sheā€™ll be ok. If current projections are accurateā€¦ā€¦

Wow. Is it calm before the storm

As predicted

From reading RTƉ it appears one of the twisters may have been responsible for a few deaths (RIP).

Other than that, it hasnā€™t been too bad, by hurricane standards anyway. Iā€™d appreciate if a hurricane expert could confirm.

Yes. It could have been much worse.
