Sorry mate. Iām talking about a proper hurricane not a tropical stormā¦you wouldnāt last a minute in a real hurricane.
The eeriest part of the hours before a hurricane is the silence. The birds, bees and crickets have all gone to ground. I remember the walk back from Mic Mac mall on the morning of the night the hurricane was due to hitā¦ Think i went to get cans of German beerā¦ But bar the very odd car passing it was utterly silent, a really really strange silence.
Lads like @Juhniallio getting riled by tropical storms will never know.

They had some Limerick fella on live from behind a bush in passage west in Cork. Claimed to be an expert on them.

I read that Disney world employees have to stay until it closes, it closes just before the hurricane hits giving no chance of getting out. What a shower of cunts
