Devonta Smith could get the Heisman if Lawrence disappoints against tOSU.
Back to back stops by the ND defense.
I don’t think Lawrence has a real shot due to the Covid absences. It looks like we’ll have the first WR heisman winner in a while. If I was Mac Jones, I’d be throwing too anyone but Smith
Comfortable for Bama in the end. Clemson v tOSU kicking off now
This is a cracking shootout between Fields and Lawrence.
Fields RIP
Fields has moxy
That was some throw from Fields.
Some statement by Ohio State and Fields.
Hugely enjoyable Orange Bowl. Devon Achane one to keep an eye on.
Devonta Smith wins the Heisman, first WR winner since Desmond Howard in 1991.
Watched his speech there, seems like a solid, humble kid.
Will be interested to see where he is drafted. Not expected to test all that well in the 40 yard dash and has a light frame, could well push him down towards the middle or end of the first round in what is supposedly a deep receiver class.
And if Waddle had been healthy he wouldn’t have even being in the running I’d say. But he had a great year. I think Giants, Patriots or Dolphins could all use a bit of help at WR and have mid round picks so those are his most likely landing spots.
Bengals will take him at 5, they need O line but fuck it.
It appears that Waddle and Chase are seen as better pro prospects or at least expected to excel at the combine. If the Bengals take a WR at 5 then Burrows favour college target in Chase would seem to be the obvious choice. But it would be interesting to see how opting out might affect these and others draft stock.
As expected, Trevor Lawrence has declared for the 2021 draft
Welcome to Jacksonville.
Bengals moving on from AJ? Boyd and Higgins are decent options
He was playing on the franchise tag this year I think and did very little of note. He is 32 or so as well
Yep, John Ross gone as well. Your imagine they go OL with their first pick unless they want to kill Burrow
