Neil Francis

Coffee and scones with Bernard O’Byrne Monday morning

I’m not. I refuse to get it but I won’t be looking to drink or dine indoors any time in the next 2 or so years so I don’t give a fuck.

Good man. Are you worried at all about work?

Good one

Franno is the only rugby journalist worth reading, well maybe i could add in Owen Slot. The rest are appalling .
in terms of radio analysis Franno, Paul Wallace and Hugo Macneil are the only Irish pundits worth listening to … this is another massive loss to a once great game.

Rugby officially died for me in 2001 with the beginnings of that disgusting Munster boatrip to Toulouse- from then on it has become unwatchable and the quality of analysis is now deplorable

RIP Franno, you had a good run.

I’m actually not taking the piss. Its my main worry now.

Mortgage to pay etc, will be bollixed if that happens.

I watched him play for a while the last day and it didn’t strike me.

D’you reckon Franno has watched him more than you?

Well id never heard of him before he pitched up for the lions so probably, but I was answering Sid.

If you were guaranteed to lose your job and your house if you didn’t take the vaccine would you take it?

I wouldnt mate. Honestly I’d sell up and leave the country.

Hopefully it doesnt come to that.

I was in Lansdowne Road the day Tony Copsey felled Franno with a punch

What country would you move to? Places like Thailand were lax on the vaccine and now they’re seeing record case numbers and pushing people to get the jab.

Irish sports journalism is a weird weird place

South America somewhere, havent looked into it at all. But somewhere like that maybe.

Worst case scenario obviously. I don’t think anything can be ruled out though at this stage.

Even the janssen one jab one?
