I missed last week’s posts so just read the whole article for the first time and then see the apology. It’s like a comedy sketch. Absolutely cuntish behavior from Francis. How could he make shit like that up about someone’s death and for a paper to just publish it without some kind of fact checking

Francis is always the hero in his articles. Even in this mess he still had to outline how him and his brothers got on great in blackrock.
Would love to see him tackled on why he sent his sons to blackrock. Seems bizarre to me.

Not defending Francis inaccuracies but he shone a spotlight on a very serious issue in that article, one that’s been brushed aside by this state since inception.
Concentrating on his gossipy untruths is what we do in Ireland

There is some truth in the question as to why it took so long for the revelations to appear from Blackrock when they had been revealed about nearly every other institution. Were they trying to silence them until the priests were all dead or something?
Or trying not to drag the good name of the school through the gutter. Or just protecting the church like everywhere else…
Ah no. His entire first story is absolute bullshit. Sure how would you know if it was even the same fella in the swimming pool? If it even happened. Its quite clear it was rumours and bullshit. A fella descending into drugs abuse because of sexual abuse actually was just a lad who happened to be gay it seems… it’s quite clear there were no facts checked.
Youd wonder how often that happens.
