Just dont take the pocket. Nothing could be worth that.

A few different production companies but mostly them alright.

I remember distinctly the Bulls vs the Suns highlights being shown on Sports Stadium, though I take your point. Most of my interest in basketball came from playing video games

Didnā€™t realise Karl Malone was a nonce.

Didnā€™t know who Karl Malone was before this.

Whatā€™s a nonce?

A very good basketball player I think

Ah, that makes sense.

Itā€™s a term generally used by British people for a paedophile

Also makes sense ā€¦ Iā€™ve never heard an Irish person use that term.

He did have relations with a 14 year old when he was 18

Ah here fulvio. Thatā€™s a stone wall classic. Iā€™ve watched it three times Iā€™d say.

Finished the Last Dance there. Last two episodes are fantastic. Undoubtedly compelling and in depth as a series, but there was a constant feeling that Jordan had total control over what was going in and he got to have the final word on all matters of controversy without being pushed in the interviews.

It gave a good insight into what made Jordan so great, a remorseless competitive mind that could not cope with being beaten. Even though he controlled the content, he still came across as a sort of one dimensional sociopath, who had no regard for others except through the prism of basketball. Even in the afterglow of titles his teammates still viewed him as a bully. Thereā€™s a bit in episode 9 where heā€™s dapping up the lads in the locker room after they win the East against the Pacers, he couldnā€™t come across any more insincere. The lack of coverage of his wife and kids was weird too.

Pippen came across very well, a sound normal chap who gained Jordanā€™s respect. Kerr came across well too, a very intelligent guy who gutted his way to an important role. Rodman is clearly nutty as fuck.

Jackson must be one of the greatest man managers in any sport ever, how he sustained the success despite the collection of egos and MJs overbearance was unreal. Same goes for Shaq and Kobe in LA. He had a very simple and very effective philosophy that maximised the talent at his disposal.

Krause gets a bit tokenistic credit (which is grudgingly given) at the end but it doesnā€™t really undo the negative portrait from the early episodes. He was a skilled team builder and deserved more credit. Breaking up the team after 1998 was a good idea in theory but he was unlucky with how it played out. The small man syndrome was clear to see and he probably deserved some of the slack he got from the players.

What a show.

What a fucking show.

The GOAT of Goats.

Think Krause comes out ok in the end. He was obviously doing the bidding of owner but taking the flak but kept plates spinning and had to manage Pippen situation. Jordan like Tom Brady obviously had ear of owner.
In a five man team his influence was huge - in basketball the franchise player has serious control. A bully, a driven fucker but he put bulls and players right up there. The lack of family till last episode was strange and even then it was limited.

MJ is the goat. Jordan shits on Brady

He had greater control over a 5 man team than patriots roster

why would you even think to compare them?

Series 3 of killing eve starts off in some style. Whoā€™d of thunk of killing a lad like that?

Unreal Unbelievable MJ is the King of Kings

A great sports docu. Scottie Pippen is a great character too, probably the only bloke MJ actually respects or appears to give respect to.

It can sometimes feel itā€™s one long golden cleric speech from the main man but the clutch shots in the biggest games make up for all that.
