Netflix

The bear s4 is a mixed bag alright but some of it’s really good I think. The wedding episode is tremendous but the opening scene of the very next episode is a dream sequence. I fucking hate them

Also, the music is great but repeated? Finest worksong and strange currencies were in earlier series I think? Maybe that’s deliberate. They’re probably talking about it in the honours course

Agree. Finished it during the week and really enjoyed it

Dream sequences are a fucking scourge. Padding for the writers and rarely add anything.

Season 3 of the bear was woeful and season 4 has picked up where it left off. Think I am four or five episodes in. Very disappointing after a decent couple of series

I enjoyed it.
Gringo hunters is great.
Anuja is a 23 minute short and quite beautiful film.

Is Gringo mostly Spanish or English?

Spanish with subtitles. There’s a great thread of dark humour, some proper bad baddies, and the blondie wan grows on you like a spicebag

The young lad is currently glued to it

I’ll give Happy Gilmore a 6 out of 10.

Just seems to me that we’re going further away on this side of the Atlantic from US humour. Sometimes i just don’t get it whatsoever and am left thinking was that mean’t to be funny. But they must have got all the US Open golfers into this one, which made it a bit slapstick cause they couldn’t act. Eminem as the jackass man’s son caught me, Marshall looking after himself big time.

Watching it here. Its fucking awful.

Dept Q on netflix is enjoyable.

Classic of the fucked up cop investigates crimes genre. But it’s well done.

9 episodes but it moved along nicely.

I flew through it.

The Syrian chap is a great character.

He’s done things

He’s the best thing in a show that has so many good things. You could go anywhere with that character.
