The 2-2 draw in Rotterdam in 1981 was one of the high points of the Eoin Hand era.

There was a respectable enough 2-1 defeat a year later.

We won 1-0 in Tilburg before the 1994 World Cup.

There was a 3-1 defeat in a friendly in the early days of Mick McCarthy’s tenure, Gary Breen gave us the lead.

Then the 2-2 draw in Amsterdam in September 2000, when we looked world class for about 70 minutes.

And a trademark Brian Kerr friendly victory in 2004 when Robbie Keane scored a nice goal.

It’s ridiculous. Huge holes in the midfield and Robinson walking around and refusing to compete for anything.
