Very little ambition from the midfield alright. Whelan had a go at Dara OāShea for a square pass earlier but he did that after moving forward with the ball and then finding Cullen (square but in space). Cullen just stood with the ball while there were 2 lads making runs off him and tried to figure out how to pass it square instead and couldnāt work it out so passed backwards instead.
Thereās no pattern of ambition or creativity. You can see it with Collins at the back asking Scales to go into the space but Manning is there and thereās a guy marking the two because theyāre in a line together and as you said the midfield are just watching that happen.

The Best Pals derby between Switzerland and Kosovo is on TV3. 0-0 at half time. The Swiss donāt seem to be in good form and I think the Kosovars could get something out of that, maybe even win it.
