As ye can see this is the new forum. Any comments or suggestions on the forum or the site in general post them on this thread. There’s plenty of settings that can be changed so it’s possible to cater for requests.
[]It is possible to keep your old post count so let me know here when you register if you want the old posts to be carried forward
[]The old board won’t be closed so it will be available to us if this one ever breaks or to refer to old threads.
[]I am working on the design of the forum at the moment. This seems to take a little while to load some times and I’m not sure how handy the all-white background is. It is probable that there will be skins (appearance themes) available for selection to users going forward so the work option will look more like My Computer in Windows XP etc.
[]The buttons at the top of each post don’t seem to correspond to the labels for some reason. No idea why that’s happening but I’ll look into it.

Features of the new board: (I’ll update this list once anything new is implemented)

[]It is now possible to post attachments on a thread instead of hosting stuff elsewhere. All this depends on bandwith availability from the hosting site but for the moment ther is a 128kb filesize limit
[]Below is a new tag that you can use when posting threads. It allows you to post something on the board that is not visible to anybody unless they hover over the box to make it readable. Useful for the Home and Away thread. To use it type {spoiler}insert text here that you don’t want revealed{/spoiler} - replace the curved brackets with square brackets.

[]By popular request: Not on the board as such but clickable from the board is the “Busy” button up the top right which will open up a dummy spreadsheet for those in work who need a quick escape.
[]I know there’s an error on the main page where it says Recent Posts on Forum by the way - just can’t figure out how to fix it yet.

They will be back - they just lost priority at two o’clock in the morning after spending ages doing the rest of the stuff. I’ll get them together at the weekend.
Rock, is there any possibility of having a quick reply box like on the old one. Before when I was meant to be working I?d often be doing a huge message in Word or in Outlook and then would copy and paste it into the quick reply box really slyly. With the new one I?ve to click ?reply? at the bottom of the thread and it?s a little slower than the old one giving more time to be caught out by my boss. Don?t want another talk about excessive internet usage.
I heard about this site from a fellow work mate and registered in anticipation only to find that it is full of meaningless subjects and even more meaningless opinions.
I do have a question though. Is there anyway I can unregister myself so that I don’t have to be seen to be associated with this amateur forum?
How do you mean? What happens when you click it? Do you mean the one at the top of every message (with reply, print etc.) or do you mean the button (beside bold, italics, underline etc.) that’s on the page when you’ve already hit reply? Have you got quick-reply enabled by the way?
