The Railway Hotel is to cease trading with immediate effect.

Jesus that whole area has needed to be bulldozed since even my early days in Limerick about 13 years ago. From the train station down as far as the top of Roches Street always reminded me of like something from a 1980’s Albanian street scene.

Imagery, imagination, etc, bud. You don’t actually have to have been there to have an image or information in your head about a particular time and place. The area outside of Colbert station has given a bad first impression of the Citay to visitors for many years, kid. Glad to hear they are doing it up.
