Next Celtic Manager

It doesn’t matter who Celtic appoint. The players have downed tools and Lennon needs to be removed. If Roy Keane or Martin o neill take over they’ll win there next ten games on the trot from the new manager bounce.

Stoke owner is as rich as Abramovich, ONeill has a good gig there

All the media rumours overnight seem to be suggesting that Lennon will be staying on.

No direct quotes or anything, but the club seems to have briefed its favoured journalists alright. Journalists then taking the line that the fan protest the other day has prompted Lawwell and Desmond to double down on their support for Lennon. That would be quite silly and spiteful, if true.

Lawwell is a cancer.

Will the protests not just increase now though

I know Milan is an away match but even if they win that (stop laughing), you’d imagine there will still be crowds outside for the St Johnstone game.

While the Club has faced a difficult period on the pitch, Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell has reiterated the Club’s determination to succeed this season and move forward together.

Peter Lawwell said: "Like all those with Celtic’s best interests at heart, everyone at the Club is feeling the same hurt, disappointment and frustration following the team’s recent results. We are accustomed to winning and, of course, our objective will always be for that to continue. There is no complacency whatsoever.

"Neil, the players and backroom staff, who have already done so much for the Club, share in all of that. They have never been more determined to succeed. Having enjoyed such sustained, unprecedented success, we now need strength in adversity.

"We know that many Celtic supporters share very honest and real concerns and they are being heard by the Club. Every decision taken, both on and off the park, is with the Club’s best interests at heart. This is not about any individual, but about Celtic Football Club as a collective.

"Together we have faced unique difficulties in the early part of the season. While some of these were beyond our control, of course we recognise we must improve. There is a long way to go and everyone at the Club is ready for the challenge.

“Later this month, Celtic will attempt what no other club in the world has achieved – a quadruple treble in domestic competitions. We can best prepare for that and for our other remaining competitions this season by moving forward together, with the sole aim of achieving continued success for the Club.”

It seems Neil Lennon’s feelings are more important that anything else at the club.

Lawwell is a heinous wanker.

He’s a chancer. Was lauded for being relegated with Hull, made the customary good start to the season at Watford and was being linked with every job, they had reverted back to the median by the time he was sacked/left. He was very much the reacher managing Everton and they were the settler, now the roles have reversed since Carlo took charge.

I’d just about take anyone else but Roy Keane and Gordon Strachan now to replace Lennon as long as it gets him to fuck.

Lenton was never right for the job. He achieved cult status among sections of the support because he got death threats. That let him get away with a lot. In fact, if the UVF hadn’t threatened to kill him that time he would never have become Celtic manager.

Give it to Big Sam. An underrated manager.

The UVF made Neil Lennon.

His record has been very good to be fair.

I didn’t want him to get the job the first time or the second time but he’s certainly been an above average manager for Celtic. Time should be up now though.

Well that’s bollocks.

A summation of his seasons in charge

Bottled a title to Walter Smith in his first season.
Won a title against a Rangers side in administration and wound up.
Won two titles with no Rangers
Won another title where he had to play out little over 10 games with an 8 point advantage over a Sevco side.
Won another title by default as a Sevco imposion post Christmas and a global pandemic say it halted with 7 or 8 games to go.

He is a below average manager who failed at Bolton and Hibs. You’re just talking out of your arse here.
