Next Celtic Manager

Well fucking able from what I’ve seen of her.

Good Laois blood in her shur.

I believe this extreme financial prudence with tiresome nods to the huns going bust is a theme that goes well beyond Rodgers’ two tenures & is set in stone irrespective of the manager. I’m not saying Rodgers is blameless but anyone trying to move the dial a bit on transfer ambition never wins the battle with the board. I think Desmond’s statement was an attempt to portray Rodgers as the beginning & end of the issues at the club, & I think it was ridiculously petty & unprofessional. I think the Celtic Collective’s efforts to force change are welcome but I think it’ll more likely be Desmond’s ego taking a bruising that might prompt some transfer spending. But I don’t expect any major structural & strategic shifts. Just potentially the stereotypical “loosening of the purse strings”.

Good Palestinian blood on them too

They were tight with Ollie J

Bellamy is the man for it I’d say.

Nah. If he keeps progressing with Wales he’ll pick up a better job than the Celtic gig

Bellamy wont leave Wales now.

Alan Stubbs could be the man. Former Celtic player and won the Scottish Cup with Hibs a year or two back.

Closer to 10 years back

Davie Hay would be the man for a title head to head race with Heart of Midlothian. He’s about the same age as Martin O’Neill, I’d say.

I have a feeling if O’Neill gets a few wins under his belt, the ‘I’m so old, and only temporary’ spiel will be binned, and he’ll be given a decent purse to get the fans back on DD’s side.

Ah yes. The miggledy approach.

What are posters thoughts on O’Neill being offered the job until the end of the season? Is that realistic? Would he want it?

On whether he will be in charge for final: “I don’t even know when the final is. There’s a fortnight break at the end of next week when I think the club would be making inroads into getting someone in.”
On whether he would like the job: “Maybe ask me that tomorrow. Today, no.”

He wasn’t exactly crying out to be given it there

It’d be box office, and he’d be given money. Hard to know if he’s able for it with the passage of time, and the evolution of the game. He was no Ferguson, but I think it’d lift the fanbase.

Rodgers being gone will give a short term bounce. If the huns get their act together, though they are an absolute bombscare at the back, the bounce will be short enough though I think.
Better to keep MON than rush the next appointment though.
It was great to have the life back in the OF all the same.

I absolutely hate the cunts. As such, I’m terrified that they’ll eventually get it half right. Their owners have deep pockets.
