Next Leader of The Labour Party

She can barely speak English.

Kathleen Lynch? Rebrand for Hildebrand, please…

She was diabolical this morning. Sounded like she was reading off a 3 line script which she just repeated over and over.

“change d leeder,chande d leeder change d leeder”

Are ya mad?

The new labour leader will be not be any of the people sitting around the cabinet table. They are too damaged by the decisions made over the last couple of years. The next leader will be a labour person and not a blow in from the stickies. Probably looking at someone like Penrose.

The Stickies blind pursuit of power has cannibalised the old Labour Party.

Looking the results from the Dublin West by election why would they give it to Burton? On those figures she won’t even retain her seat.

Listening to the Labour reaction to the bad election over the weekend it appears head in the sand is the preferred party policy now. To see Emer Costello’s votes ensuring Hayes’ election only confirms Labour have served their purpose in this state. Unlike others who disappeared or were demonised I cannot recall them ever doing the state some service. They will only be remembered for the last 3 years and not the previous 93.

Well done Gimmemore and Rabbitte, thats the 3rd party you have folded now !

Rabbitte was completley oblivious to any of this on the radio yesterday. He was on in the morning still pushing the same old agenda about a difficult time and other parties not having realistic alternatives. Yesterday was not the day for that narrative. Pearse Doherty had the good grace to remind him of that - if there was ever a day to adopt a tone of introspection and reviewing policies and acknowledging that difficult times mean difficult measures but we’ve listened to the electorate and we need to push our agenda harder in government, then that was yesterday. Instead, the first instinct was defence, then attacking Sinn Féin and not even a hint of awareness that this sort of attitude will bring the fall much harder and much quicker.

Even if you believe that the alternatives are just rhetoric, Labour have proven themselves to be nothing but rhetoric, so why don’t they change their rhetoric?

Kathleen lynch who revokes terminally ill kids medical cards, but when shes sick gets air ambulanced to cork?
Did you hear her on the radio this morning?
Fuckin hell.
Yes I heard it and that was why I posted her name in the thread. I was being sarcastic.
