Even Ole agrees

The dynasty is well and truly demolished, it has been for years.

How long do you think the 7 year famine could extend?

It wont end until the glazers float the club and even after that maybe another 5 years at least.

The Glazers have backed the managers with big transfer funding too. A scapegoat despite all the expensive signings during their tenure.

I had a big think today about what would have happened if Liverpool hadn’t hired Jurgen Klopp. What a horrible ten minutes or so that was

Two questions.

Is the signing of said big players down to the managers or the board ?

The hiring of managers down to the glazers or actual football people ?

United made a balls of lvg and they are paying for it now.

United would of won a league with him given the correct amount of time.

They went out and made what they taught was the popular choice by hiring Mourinho.

Yes he won a couple of trophies for them but look at what way he has left clubs when he was finished with them.

Players these days have image rights and there is no way a player will allow mourinho to criticise them publically and damage their own product as top players make more money from boot deals ect than football wages.

Difficult to say who’s calling the shots but they’ve certainly been backed in the transfer market and can’t blame a lack of spending power considering they could sign the likes of Di Maria and Pogba while outside of the Champions League.

I would also factor in due diligence finding out a players attitude to see if he will rock the boat when chips are down.

Like other footballing dynasties united never replaced david gill correctly also like arsenal who never replaced david dein.

They will continue to fall short unless they bring back football people.

Liverpool have the best transfer.maker.in the business in michael Edwards.

If you asked me would I rather loose a mane or Salah or Edwards I would pick a player.

Edward’s has a lot of credit for delivering players, renewing contracts and getting best bang for bucks for deadwood players.
