Klopp for the Kop. We go again.

Not likely to happen, but would be interesting to see what Pardew would achieve as Liverpool manager.

Pardew is not ambitious enough. Will always be happy with a top 6

Relegation most likely.

Shearer on MOTD2 saying Liverpool haven’t progressed under Rodgers and he hasn’t improved them from when Dalglish was in charge. Frankly, that’s bollox. I think Klopp would be a disastrous appointment.

Why so?

Yes this is important. Why would Klopp be a disastrous appointment? I need to be informed for the important conversations of the day tomorrow.

It’s all a matter really. The game’s been ruined by a plethora of S’s…Sky, Spivs (Arry types) and spoofers like Mouthino. Whatever you say about Whiskey Nose, he managed. Chased off those who didn’t see it his way and still collected trophies. Managers manage and the huskies mush…

One possible reason is for this thinking is that the furious pressing game favoured by Klopp may not suit Daniel Sturridge’s fragile hamstrings.

Graeme Souness was on Sky yesterday wondering how Rodgers got the job in the first place.

He took over from ‘Kenny’ who had won a Carling Cup and also would have won the FA Cup had it not been for Petr Cech apparently.

Snobbish horseshite coming from a man who did more to ruin Liverpool than anyone else.

Dalglish was a Neanderthal. Believed in the big man, little man upfront fed by wingers and a fat Hun cunt’s set pieces. Rodgers’ introduction of the diamond formation with Sterling at the head of it was the main reason for the 2014 run in my eyes. Of course we had Suarez but so did the ‘King’. Also, Rodgers change of formation after a couple of months of last season with Coutinho and Lallana off Sterling and three at the back was also very progressive in my eyes - something which the ‘King’ would be incapable of. Also in general the football played by Rodgers during his time at the club was excellent.

For me Rodgers big problem was his transfer record. It is definitely clear that he had at least some say in transfers. He was consistently given money to spend but blew most of it. I also think that the fans had turned on him as well and once that happened he was a goner. I don’t think he was going to bring the club any further so it was time for him to go. However I wish him well.

Rodgers biggest failing was not addressing our defensive issues in his 3 years at the club. We can’t defend against set pieces and we try to play the ball out from the back with players who are incapable of doing so. I have a feeling that it will come out in time that Rodgers had little to no say in any of the transfer activity while he was there. They should’ve got rid of him in the summer. Leaving it until now smacks a little of panic but is probably the right decision. He is a good coach but is full of shit and talked himself into a lot of public embarrassments.

@Rocko - What do you make of Kloppo? Is he all fur knickers? What state were Dortmund in before he game in… I get a bad vibe from him.

They were in rag order before he took over. He’s a touch populist - he was a media personality first and certainly played to the crowd in Dortmund. They found it very hard to sustain their momentum and he looked lost last season, couldn’t figure out how to change anything when things went wrong.
