Next Liverpool Manager

Exactly. Talent is a great starting point, you cannot make a champion team from 2nd ratye players. They took off him 2 of his best players.

He should have bought superstars arguably instead of the sensible approach he took in trying to build a team. Harsh lesson of the gap between sense and patience to the impatient business aspect of it all.

EPL is simply disgusting now. A poor reflection on England, and completely fails to give a true reflection of the good parts of English society like it used to.

I don’t expect this to change under Klopp, or whoever is appointed. And that’s not a recipe for success.

I don’t have much much confidence in Fenway Sports Group who appear to me to be the latest of a long line of owners in English football who are bringing a strategy from elsewhere (in this case baseball) and applying it to football, without really knowing anything about the game.

Skysports are the real winners in all this…They have a Mourinho crisis and now the hunt for a new Liverpool manager… It’s going to be top, top tv over the next few days.

Any manager worth his salt should insist on having the final say over transfers. It’s a recipe for disaster otherwise.

That’s rare enough these days, mate.

There’s very few strong managers at the big clubs where this happens though, mate. Not like in our day.

Was he taking the piss with that shit post?

Yes, that’s what van gaal has been doing. Don’t think Liverpool will allow any manager a blank cheque.

What superstars have United bought?

The only superstar they got under Van Gaal they sold him off 12 months later…

Stevie G being touted on twitter.

Football in general doesn’t suit Daniel Sturridge.

Klopp at Anfield - this is going to be fucking awesome. He will end Mourinho and that spoofer Van Gaal.

Yeah he certainly put paid to Pep in Germany and ended Munich’s dominance.

Kloppo is the German Rodgers.

Pep; the Spanish belicheat

Kloppo is one of those flash in the pan managers. He’s this generation’s Hector Cuper.

The latest David Squires cartoon in The Guardian on the Liverpool manager situation is superb. Wonderful wit and attention to detail. Rodgers’ envelope, Dalglish’s tshirt etc etc. Post it up there, taz.
