Do we know whether he was the brains behind Iceland or whether it was Lagerback? He obviously got them to a World Cup on his own. You’d have to say that they overachieved for a couple of tournaments, which is good.
Looking at Jamaica’s results in the Copa America; I don’t think any of them were matches they would have been expected to win. They’re largely a team of Championship and League One players other than Antonio, playing against some decent opposition.
I’m an optimist so at least I can hope someone I know little about can do well rather than someone who is doomed to failure from the outset.
