His heart went out to Waterford.
Nice guy
David Dunne and Jack Guiney will miss Sunday’s game in Galway due to injury according to the local press in Wexford. I think Dunne will be a big player for us this season as his pace will suit Davy’s counter-attacking style.
Is the Wexfodt v Galaway game on TV???
Don’t you mean small pal? He’s definitely not big.
Very droll, mate.
I’ve since been alerted to the fact that The Irish Independent has an article stating that Guiney’s been given 2-3 weeks to get his fitness levels up to the required standard.
I no longer read INM publications with the notable exception of The Wexford People.
Will ye beat Galway
I don’t think we’re capable of beating a top four team away from home just yet, joe.
One change for Wexford. Jack O’Connor for Aaron Maddock. I see David Dunne is listed in the subs too despite reports of him being injured earlier in the week.
agreed, galway are a serious side
Limerick are a top 4 team??
Theyre top 4 in Division 2 Joe.
I have to fancy Galway but i expect Wexford to be close. Galway have nothing done yet but will improve as the year goes on.
This is Wexfords chance to start reaching that level and a few early scores might rattle Galway. Is Conor Devitt still playing for Wexford? He was very good at u21.
Yes I think so, Joe

To win . Wex to give Galway a decent rattle .
I don’t think he’s involved in the squad at the moment but I saw him in attendance at the Dublin Walsh Cup game. I’m very wary of coming across like some strange posters from Clare but he looked outstanding as our minor centre back in 2013. He was midfield in our Leinster U21 winning teams in 2014 and 2015 but the Wexford pairing each year got thoroughly outplayed by Galvin and Kelly and the two chaps from Doon in the two finals. Hopefully he’ll come back into the fold at some stage again.
Same again. Expect to see Daithi involved at some point

A formidable outfit despite having more players to come back into your strongest starting team.
We’ll see how formidable tomorrow. Your lads will be full of confidence and we know Davy will have a plan. The Offaly game was a joke so we should have a better idea of where we’re at after this one. The Mannions should be back in a couple of weeks (currently getting schooled by Ritchie Power and co in the Intermediate Final 0-1 to 1-6, 1st half) and by the time Joe will be ready hopefully he’ll need to be fighting to get the start
Laois 1-08 Offaly 1-07 approaching half time.
