Is it better to be competitive with outsiders than useless without them? Itâs a tough one. You could argue both sides
If they had five decent 1A matches against decent teams under their belts in the spring of 2014, would it have stood to them against Kilkenny going down the stretch?
Limerick ARE 1B. If they ever managed to actually get promoted, Iâd change the format again to a 5-team top tier.
If they become more competitive then the hope would be that the club game improves and more youngster start to play seriously, thus improving the game exponentially in those counties.
Hard to see how it will work but better than doing absolutely nothing I suppose.
Obsessed with us.
Those Offaly sending offs. Pure tramps.
Whatâs the story with Johnathon Glynn, is he still stateside?
Ah stop. Shocking stuff.
Limerick hurling could do with 15 outlanders
Yeah, gone for good Iâd say
Thatâs a shame.
From Hogan Stand but still worth a look
This weekendâs Allianz Hurling League action saw plenty of twists and turns, hereâs our team of the weekâŚ
- Paul Dermody (Kildare)
The scoring exploits of John Mulhall and David Reidy captured the headlines but the Lilywhitesâ number one proved his worth against Westmeath with a number of fine stops.
- Seadna Morey (Clare)
The Banner County bounced back from their opening round defeat to Cork in fine style with a 13 point victory over Kilkenny.
- Eoghan OâDonnell (Dublin)
The Whitehall Colmcille clubman has been a model of consistency for Ger Cunninghamâs side in the pivotal full-back position.
- James Barry (Tipperary)
Waterfordâs forwards found the going tough against Barry and his Premier County defensive colleagues.
- Seamus Kennedy (Tipperary)
The Tipp half-back also caught the eye as Michael Ryanâs men continued their winning ways in Division 1A.
- Conor Cleary (Clare)
The Banner County rearguard coughed up just five points from play to the Cats in Cusack Park.
- David Fitzgerald (Clare)
The Clare half-back enjoyed a fine outing against Kilkenny and contributed a point to their winning tally of 2-19.
- James Ryan (Limerick)
After losing their round 1 encounter against Wexford, captain Ryan and the Treaty County took their frustrations out on Kerry with a 22-point win.
- Barry Carton (Wexford)
Wexford are in pole position in Division 1B thanks to their comeback win against Galway and midfielder Carton was one of the stars of their two-point victory.
- Eoghan Conroy (Dublin)
Conroy pilfered 1-2 as the team in sky blue registered a badly needed 2-19 to 1-14 success at Corkâs expense.
- Stephen Maher (Laois)
âPickyâ helped himself to 0-12 (7 frees) as Laois made the most of their numerical advantage against Offaly in OâMoore Park.
- Lee Chin (Wexford)
The all-action Chin was very much to the fore as the Model County issued a statement of intent in Pearse Stadium.
- Conor McDonald (Wexford)
The talented McDonald took the scoring honours for Davy Fitzgeraldâs side with a return of 0-7 (5 frees).
- John McGrath (Tipperary)
The Waterford rearguard struggled to cope with McGrath who top scored for Tipp with 1-6 (0-3 frees) in Walsh Park.
- Aron Shanagher (Clare)
The Wolfe Tones clubmanâs contribution of 1-4 was key in their surprisingly comprehensive win.
Nearly NEARLY FFS @ChocolateMice
Yes I was being serious Joe, indeed I was. Will you give me a fucking rest please.

Please do mate because I donât want to make an enemy of you and you really are taking the piss now.
Will I do your scores as a peace offering?
Seadna Morey must have a relation or close friend working for Hoganstand.
Meath relatives?
The HS and GAA TOTWâs are the biggest pile of guesswork horseshit this side of the All Stars.
I KNOW
