Yeah, he’ll only get a while out of it but hay he’ll make. I can see some sort of
self help workshop clinics popping up around the place as part of it.
Another to keep an eye for is Pat Divilly. He is starting to transisition from personal
trainer type guru into the Tony Robbins of Ireland type character. I am
watching this move with interest.
Thats a bit strong but maybe you have some experience?
I’d be wary of giving over good money to him but has a well established ‘tribe’ so he must have got decent results for clients somewhere along the way?
Bressie’s missus on with Anton Savage there an hour ago promoting healthy eating.
The pair of them will be laughing all the way to bank via the corporate motivational speaking engagements, the reality tv shows, the healthy living niche, the newspaper columns, the appearance money for opening shops etc.
It must be a hard enough way to make a living. They must know it is unsustainable so future must be a worry but once you are “famous” hard to just get a 9 to 5 job. Irish market is so small that all these former models blogging and writing healthy eating articles must be eating each other’s dinner.
Did you see that Rosanna Davidson is into baking healthy treats and cooking healthy meals now? She crops up on Ireland AM on TV3 and the likes. That’s so early 2000s - she must be secretly seething at Bressie capturing market share in the mindfulness / mental health area. It’s a whole new industry in itself and the first significant one since everything hipster became an industry about 4 years ago.
Some of the brown nosing Breslin’s ‘fans’ give him on twitter is hilarious. Seems to be determined to get his schtick into schools. Funny given way counselling hours were cut so much recently.
Shops full of adult ‘mindfullness’ colouring books. One of women at work got one. The younger ones more obsessed with the new Puritanism of over exercising and eating bowls of broccoli.
Don’t know anyone silly enough to have bought ‘jeffrey’ yet though
