Environment: Wherever we go, there we are – Jon Kabat-Zinn. Engage in positive conversation and avoid being hurtful or gossiping about others. Remove yourself from conversations where people are giving out about others.
Self-compassion: Be kind and gentle to yourself. Doing something nice for yourself or someone else releases serotonin in the brain, which helps support a positive outlook.
Gratitude: The quality of being thankful and a readiness to show appreciation for, and to return, kindness. Start the day with a thank you, and find the opportunity to be thankful for small events, and big events, during the day.
Be non-judgemental: Be curious, not judgemental - Walt Whitman. Try not to pass judgement –instead, explore and try to understand where others are coming from. We don’t know what others are going through. Understanding will help to connect with others.
Mindfulness meditation: Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way; on purpose in the present moment, and non-judgementally - Jon Kabat-Zinn. Focus on one action during the day, every day, and notice how mindfully paying attention changes the experience of the action.

Can someone identify his first mention of his “condition” and whether he described it as
